Life is CRAZY!!!
I keep thinking things will slow down.
After Bailee's play is over, life will be slower....hm no.
After Ben's done with Drivers Ed, life will be slower... hm no.
After Miss Riverton life will surely be slower...hm no.
After Ben and Brooklyn have voice recital life will ease up....
After Graduation and all the precursor pomp life will be slower.....hm no.
After New York life will surely slow down....
After Brooklyn's Ballet recital life will absolutely slow down....
Here's hoping.

I really need a breather.
Catch up on laundry,
shampoo the carpets,
mow the lawns,
weed the flower beds,
buy college supplies,
a nap.

Really hoping to hook up the trailer and head to parts unknown,
sit by a campfire, make s'mores, read a book and chill.
Here's to the summer and a little rest and relaxation.
So until then....

Hindsight

I hate it when I'm sure about something.....
Only to look back and be sorry.
URGH!!

Isn' t this true for everybody?
Hindsight is 20/20.
If we could only see the future..
know exactly how we would feel etc.

Well today I feel nothing but regret.
Nothing HUGE
just feeling like I missed my chance
to record a moment a memory!!

This past weekend Bailee starred in her first leading role
"Anabelle Glick" in "Lucky Stiff"
I personally think she was amazing.
(of course I am not bias in any way)

Anyway, after some thought
we decided not to record the show.
It makes it difficult to watch and enjoy the moment
when your worried about recording.

Now I am full of REGRET!!
I should have at least recorded her solo
and her duets with her leading man.
~heavy heavy sigh~

Oh to have that decision back.

You can never take too many pictures
record too many memories.

So the moral of this post.
Try to never regret decisions or moments
words said or not said
things done or left undone.

Yes, this is a minor regret
a decision that doesn't affect life, love and all that.
One I will get over.
But, how many times in our lives
do we regret big stuff.
I really don't want to look back on these years
and have regrets.
I must be hormonal, I'm feeling all maudlin.

I guess it's inevitable to have regrets
occasionally wish we had reacted,
or acted differently.

Well my goal....
to not have many of these!!
