I really don't like public speaking.
It is not my thing.
I don't mind giving a lesson or speaking to a small group but big groups are out.
I get to speak in Sacrament Meeting on Sunday and I'm not really overly thrilled.
This is not what I consider a small group.
The topic, "How living the Young Women Values can Anchor you to Christ".
But don't talk about the values specifically.
-sigh-
I have been pondering this for a good 2 weeks.
I do think I finally have my thoughts organized and I'm ready to write it all down.
I really can't wait until it's done.
I think I might just get up and say the Bishop has asked me to speak about...
and say some random subject. Just to see if I can get a reaction.
A check to see who is really paying attention.
Might get me a funny look from the bishopric. Worth it? I think so.
On the up side
There will first be two young women speakers,
a musical number and my two councilors will speak.
If I'm lucky I might just have enough time to say "I agree".
For those of you who worry...
I will keep my promise and I wont say the word "Anchor". Not one time!
I can give that topic without using that word. Just see if I don't.
Wish me luck!

Just look at the upside. After this you're off the hook for a couple more years. That's how it's supposed to work, right? ;)
You'll be great Mom. :)
I am SO excited to hear you speak!!! (and - I'm going to pay attention to see if you can get through it without saying "Anchor" :) Best of luck!!!
