I have patiently been waiting all summer for strawberries to come on at a decent price. To no avail. What is a girl to do? No strawberries and no jam. My family informed me they were not eating store bought strawberry jam anymore!!
This past weekend I was bemoaning my jam woes to my mom. She said I don't understand your problem, just go buy frozen strawberries. WHAT?! Why has no one ever told me before now that you can make freezer jam with frozen strawberries. Can you say no prep and easy peasy!! Sheesh all these wasted years. :) It even tastes just the same!! I tried hers. So off to Costco I went to buy 1 bag of frozen strawberries. ($8.95) Thaw, puree, add sugar, pectin ($6.00) and lemon juice. 1 1/2 hours later and a sore stirring arm and wala 16 pints of jam for like $15.00!! Now were jammin'!!

You are so funny. I can't believe Bailee is dating!! That is weird. Good for her. I have to break one of your rules because first date is worthy of pics. I still have a few years, but it will be here before I know it.
